Importance of Legal Usage
The Bible clearly says that God has provided everything for man since the creation and God wants humans to use all the things He has given to the glory of His name.
One thing that we always have to understand is that all property that we have or all that is in our lives belong to God and to Him we return. One moment He will demand accountability from all of us for everything he has given to us.
Cain was the first person in the Bible who did not understand the importance of legal usage he had failed to perform responsibilities so that he was expelled from the presence of God (Genesis 4:1-12). Cain understood that he had must give the offerings to God, but he could not give a pleasing sacrifice to God so that God did not heed. Cain lost this point until he had bad things like:
1. The offerings was not accepted by God
2. Cain became angry and eventually killed Abel
3. Cain was condemned and rejected by God, a fugitive in the presence of God.
Let us learn from Cain and do not make the same mistake like him. God just wants us to experience life with abundance and full of blessing, but before that happens we should be fully aware of who owns real property we have and what we should do with such property. Honor the Lord with the first produce we get as a sign of gratitude and our surrender to Him, and believe that God also never fails to fulfill any of His promises. God bless.
